Hi there! My name is Joanne Palmer, and I’m the creator and editor behind this site. I’ve been playing World of Warcraft since 2007, starting during the Burning Crusade expansion. What began as a casual hobby quickly turned into a big part of my life. Over the years, I’ve explored nearly every part of Azeroth, joined and led guilds, and spent far too much time farming mounts I probably didn’t need—but loved anyway.
Why I Built This Site
After spending years reading guides and helping friends through raids, I decided it was time to share what I’d learned with a wider audience. I started writing short posts and tips for my guildmates, and eventually launched this site to collect everything in one place. My goal has always been to keep things clear and simple, whether it’s a quick tip for beginners or a breakdown of a complex dungeon route.
What You’ll Find Here
The content on this site is a mix of news, opinions, walkthroughs, and personal experiences. I write about things I’ve tested myself in-game, so nothing is just theory. You’ll find guides on PvP and PvE, Mythic+ routes, patch breakdowns, UI setups, and my favorite topic of all—transmogs. I also cover WoW events, hidden achievements, and sometimes share thoughts on how the game is changing.
My WoW Journey
I started as a Night Elf Druid on a small EU server, but over the years I’ve played every class and most specs. These days, I spend most of my time on a Blood Elf Priest and a Human Rogue. I enjoy healing dungeons, pushing Mythic+ keys, and helping new players understand what makes the game so rewarding. I still do old raids for fun, and I’ve probably run Ulduar more times than I’d like to admit.
How I Play
I’m not a professional player, but I care deeply about how I play. I use addons like WeakAuras, Details!, and ElvUI to keep things clean and efficient. I test all my guides and layouts myself, and I try to find ways to improve the experience for players who might be overwhelmed by too many options or cluttered UIs. If I recommend something here, it’s because I use it too.
Outside of WoW
When I’m not playing, I enjoy photography, hiking in the Kent countryside, and cooking for my family. I live in Tunbridge Wells with my partner and two dogs, who occasionally bark in the background during Mythic+ runs. I also enjoy writing in general, and this site lets me blend that passion with my favorite game.
My Mission
I believe that gaming should be fun, accessible, and social. Too many guides feel cold or hard to follow—I want this site to feel like a friend is walking you through the steps. Whether you’re struggling with your first dungeon or trying to improve your damage in PvP, I want my content to make you feel more confident and capable.
How to Reach Me
If you’d like to say hi, give feedback, or suggest a topic, I’m always open to hearing from readers. You can visit the Reach Me page to find all my contact info. I reply personally to every message and love connecting with others who share this passion.
